About Daylight Collective
A place to find support, connection, and community.
Daylight Collective is a new kind of community hub, bringing people, resources, and possibilities together in one place.
Led by the Action Center, Daylight Collective is transforming a former Jeffco school in Lakewood into a 107,000-square-foot campus to make it easier for individuals and families to find the support they need and to create welcoming spaces for everyone in the community to connect, learn, and belong.
Opening in early 2027, Daylight Collective will bring together a growing coalition of high-impact, mission-aligned partners. Instead of navigating a maze of separate organizations and services, community members will be able to find no-cost groceries and clothing, resource navigation, family coaching, health and behavioral health services, workforce and education support, benefits assistance, youth recreation, and more in one welcoming place.
Shared spaces, including a community café, coffee shop, event center, and gymnasium, will create opportunities for connection beyond services. Built on the Action Center’s relationship-driven, dignity-centered approach, Daylight Collective is the next chapter of a nonprofit that has served the Denver Metro area since 1968.
More than services. A place to belong.
Daylight Collective is a community hub for everyone, bringing support, connection, and community together in one place because getting help should never mean facing challenging times alone.
At Daylight Collective, support doesn’t stop at meeting an immediate need. We believe people deserve to be heard, respected, and supported as they navigate whatever comes next.
Alongside the Action Center’s expanded no-cost food and clothing markets and Family Zone, the campus will include shared spaces designed for the whole community, including a community café, coffee shop, event center, gymnasium, and community garden.
These spaces create opportunities to gather, build relationships, discover new resources, and feel at home. Community care is about more than what we provide. It’s about how we show up for one another.

A new chapter for the Action Center:
For more than 50 years, the Action Center has been a place where neighbors can turn when they need support. Daylight Collective builds on that legacy while imagining what community care can look like in the future. The campus is being designed around a simple idea: people shouldn’t have to navigate hard times alone. Daylight Collective brings services closer together, creates more opportunities for connection, and makes room for the relationships that help people move from immediate challenges toward greater stability and possibility.
Coming in early 2027:
A community hub where support meets connection, and where care can thrive.
Daylight Collective is currently under construction at 1195 S. Teller St. in Lakewood, Colorado, with plans to open to the public in early 2027. We can't wait to welcome you!
